India A. Ramey graduated Cum Laude from Birmingham-Southern College with a B.A. in Political Science and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Lambda National Honor Societies. She received her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law. Before joining the firm, India practiced in the area of domestic relations and was the special prosecutor for the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office Violence Against Women Prosecution Unit. She has been a panel discussion speaker for ABICLE, as well as a trainer and speaker for the Department of Justice and for the Montgomery Police and Sheriff’s Departments. India now handles litigation matters in both state and bankruptcy courts regarding creditors’ rights. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar and the Birmingham Bar Association.
