Jeffrey H. Wertheim has practiced in the areas of collections, creditors' rights and consumer bankruptcy proceedings since 1987. He received his B.S. degree in Business Management from Auburn University and his law degree, with honors, from the University of Miami School of Law. Jeff has been a contributing author to several publications on collections and he lectures frequently on collections and creditors' rights issues. He has been a guest lecturer at Harvard Law School, University of Alabama School of Law, Samford University School of Business and University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Business. Jeff represents creditors in state and federal litigation and in consumer bankruptcy cases. He is a member of the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys, the Commercial Law League of America, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the American Collectors Association. Jeff is a member of the Florida Bar and Alabama State Bar.
